ScriptPro Teamwork Pays Off at KCCC 2018

Another season of Kansas City Corporate Challenge (KCCC) has come to an end. Over 100 ScriptPro employees participated in 33 different athletic events, our largest turnout in years! Out of those 33 events, we medaled in 11 of them. A big thanks to ScriptPro for funding tune-up leagues in various sports to build comradery and sportsmanship heading into KCCC season.

In addition to all those shiny medals, ScriptPro employees took home the health benefits of competing in a variety of athletic events. ScriptPro Project Manager Grace Kagay (who is a member of our KCCC Steering Committee) commented, “My favorite part of KCCC is watching people compete in events and realize their potential. So many people are convinced that they’re too old, slow, out-of-shape, etc. to compete. Yet, when they get out on the playing field a spark ignites a fire, and it’s so much fun to watch them grow and become encouraged to re-invest in their health and well-being.”

At the end of the day, ScriptPro continues to compete in KCCC to give employees the opportunity to strengthen relationships outside of the office. Grace shared, “I really love getting our management and director-level staff out at KCCC. It helps break down barriers as we’re all playing on the same field.”

As a team, ScriptPro won 4th place in Division C (out of 20 companies) – just a few points shy of 3rd. Congratulations to all of the medal winners and dedicated participants. We can’t wait to see what we can accomplish in 2019!
