ScriptPro Supports PurpleStride KC and Employees’ Dedication to PanCAN
ScriptPro has joined the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) to raise critical funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer through PurpleStride Kansas City. Our employees and their families have united to create Team ScriptPro with the goal of raising $5,000 to support PanCAN’s mission to advance research, support patients, and create hope.
PurpleStride Kansas City, a 5K run and family-friendly walk, will take place on May 6 at 8:00 a.m. at Frank A. Theis Park. This community event will pay tribute to loved ones who have succumbed to pancreatic cancer, as well as honor those who are currently fighting.
ScriptPro employee Lisa Angelotti says, “I was raised to believe that you give back to those less fortunate than you and do what you can to help your community.
“Any company that supports philanthropy in its community is important, but it’s great to be working at a place like ScriptPro, which does that and more! ScriptPro allows employees to volunteer our time for meetings (that sometimes happen during the day), as well as matches employee contributions to things like our employee-driven charity event each year. This speaks volumes to ScriptPro’s integrity.”
