ScriptPro Customer Karen Merrill Talks Trends in Chain Pharmacy

Karen Merrill, a ScriptPro customer and VP of GRX Holdings, joined a recent roundtable discussion published in ComputerTalk.

Merrill and other roundtable participants discussed tools that are gaining traction in the chain market, including workflow systems, electronic documentation, and—most importantly—how these tools all should be geared toward enabling pharmacists the ability to focus more on clinical care.

Merrill noted that an aspect of providing better care was connecting providers for better transitional care.

She said, “We confirmed we need all of our platforms to be integrated. … We need a documentation system so we can record in one place what we’ve done in all areas.”
