Matt Wigdahl serves as vice president of software technology at ScriptPro, where he has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s products and technology strategy since 1997. He joined ScriptPro to help modernize pharmacy workflows through automation, beginning his tenure by writing the original user interface and database for the flagship SP 200 robot. 

Over nearly three decades, Matt has helped guide the evolution of ScriptPro’s software from single-computer, stand-alone systems to distributed, web-based solutions. Today, he leads initiatives to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) across ScriptPro’s processes and platforms, with a focus on delivering real-world improvements that help pharmacy teams work more efficiently.

He is energized by the rapid pace of AI advancement and its potential to augment human expertise, accelerate innovation, and reinforce ScriptPro’s role as a trusted partner to its customers and the patients they serve.

Before joining ScriptPro, Matt held roles at Black & Veatch and Sprint. He believes technology can be a force for good, particularly in health care, where smart systems can help prevent errors and save lives.

Matt holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
