SP Datapoint

SP Datapoint is a compact, interactive countertop unit for entering, filling, verifying, dispensing, and tracking prescriptions. It integrates an adjustable height touchscreen monitor, barcode scanner, and optional SP Printer labeling device to provide workflow control and dispensing accuracy.

SP Datapoint works in conjunction with ScriptPro Pharmacy Management, Workflow Management, and Pouch Packaging Systems* to process prescriptions from point of entry to point of sale. It displays on-screen prescription status lists, automates the collation of patient prescriptions, and provides paperless prescription tracking and batching for each patient.

A second non-touchscreen monitor can be added to SP Datapoint to have one display dedicated to the ScriptPro system and the other to the Terminal Services or Terminal Emulation session; the second monitor can be provided by the customer or purchased from ScriptPro.**

*SP Datapoint integrates with ScriptPro’s standalone medication pouch packagers, MP 100 or MP 400 (with or without a Tray Management Station). A system server will also be required if the pouch packaging solution includes an MDM for detection, inspection, and archiving.

**Dual monitor support requires SP Datapoint with i5 computer at current maintenance minimum. Secondary monitor ports are designed for DVI connectivity. ScriptPro will make its “best effort” to integrate with customer-provided secondary monitors but does not guarantee the functionality of non-ScriptPro monitors.

Mounting Options: Counter, desktop, and wall/floor mount options available. Pivot arm available on all mounting options. Floor mount must be installed at least 4″ from wall; includes concrete and wood anchors. Wall mount must be anchored to wall stud or substrate sufficient to support 100 lbs (45.5 kg).
