ScriptPro Inventory Management (SIM)

ScriptPro Inventory Management (SIM) integrates with ScriptPro Workflow Management System to provide real-time inventory tracking, order generation, electronic transmission, and inventory receiving for outpatient pharmacies. With SIM, you can allocate inventory based on the pending prescriptions in the pharmacy and only decrement inventory on fill. This ensures that you accurately decrement the right NDC and quantity at the time the label is printed.

Drugs are automatically placed on an order when their available quantity falls below the user-defined minimum on-hand level, or drugs can be

set up for manual order. Detailed inventory adjustment registers track all occurrences of manual and system-generated inventory adjustments for sales, return to stocks, physical counts, and orders.

ScriptPro supports direct EDI* interfaces to suppliers, allowing customers to place and receive automated orders, check order acknowledgement updates, and receive automatic pricing updates. Supplier catalogs are automatically downloaded and applied when published by the supplier. To support the unique needs of DoD pharmacy settings, ScriptPro interfaces with DMLSS.

SIM integrates inventory management and tracking into the workflow, increasing drug stock visibility and accountability. Over 20+ reports detail drug utilization, inventory tracking, current inventory cost, order savings opportunities, and more. With SIM, the pharmacy maintains appropriate stock levels, reducing overages/outs while eliminating the need to walk the shelves with a clipboard and manually create inventory orders.

Requirements and Specifications**

SIM and ScriptPro Workflow Management System operate on the SP Central Expanded Server, which is configured to run SIM and other ScriptPro applications on the Primary Server and backup processes on the Secondary Server. Rackmount and Desktop assemblies supported.

  • Minimum SP Central Expanded Server Requirements: Gen 5+, Windows Server 2008 R2, 64 bit SQL 2008 R2 Database, 20 gig RAM
  • Product Lines: WMS
  • Training: Up to four Full Time Equivalent (FTE) training days included with original lease/purchase. Approx. two FTE days for Training and Setup and approx. two FTE days for Go-Live and Support. One “FTE” day is defined as one trainer on-site for one day for up to 10 hours. If more than one trainer is on-site, it is counted as multiple FTE days.

 

*EDI account setup is included with purchase of ScriptPro Inventory Management (SIM).
