340B Management Package

The 340B Management Package provides pharmacies using the ScriptPro Pharmacy Management System¹ an advanced tool for managing 340B programs. Pharmacies no longer need to spend valuable resources separating 340B inventory costs, monitoring patient eligibility, or tracking and reconciling prescriptions.

Because the ScriptPro software supports multiple inventory centers, you can virtually separate, track, order, and report on each inventory type (340B, Pharmacy, OTC, etc.), including numerous 340B accounts for multiple contracts. This feature, combined with the 340B Eligibility Interface and 340B Claims Processing, ensures that 340B stock is always purchased, adjudicated, and replenished in accordance with a site’s 340B program.
For customers upgrading to ScriptPro’s Pharmacy Management System, ScriptPro can convert 340B accumulations that have been tracked in a third-party system (since the 340B Management Package tracks accumulations by NDC, the third-party system must be able to export NDCs and accumulation amounts in spreadsheet form).

The following provides more details on ScriptPro’s 340B Management Package offerings.
- 340B Eligibility Interface – Prescription 340B eligibility is updated in the pharmacy software based on interface data received and parameters set by the qualified health center or covered entity’s Electronic Health Records (EHR) system. Eligibility can be determined based on a combination of patient encounters, prescriber, prescription address, or directly indicated by the EHR system. This inbound data is captured via an orders interface.
- 340B Claims Processing—ScriptPro works with the customer to establish 340B claims processing requirements, including Medicaid carve-in/carve-out rules. ScriptPro’s 340B Management Package also offers retrospective 340B claims identification and automatic processing to meet program requirements.
- 340B Supplier EDI Interface and Inventory Setup – ScriptPro works with the customer’s 340B supplier to implement an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for electronic transmission of orders to and order acknowledgement from the supplier.
- 340B Price Tables—ScriptPro works with the pharmacy’s finance team and/or pharmacy manager to establish a 340B pricing model that meets the pharmacy’s needs. Using this information, ScriptPro configures Price Tables accordingly to ensure proper pricing is submitted and prescriptions are billed at the customer’s preferred rate to ensure maximum return from the third-party payer.
- 340B Reports—System reports are available to track 340B product usage for on-demand compliance reporting and for financial purposes, such as viewing fill order profit margins. All reports are exportable to allow further in-depth analysis of data.
- 340B Reconciliation – Integrate powerful 340B accounts receivable management by also implementing ScriptPro’s Financial Advantage to oversee all aspects of contracts, third-party billing, and collection of third-party prescription reimbursements, including 340B prescriptions.
